About
Hello, Bruno here. I’m the one behind all of this. In my professional life, I’m a self-employed DevOps Engineer and Operations Manager, but in my free time, I delve into psychology, politics, and learning something new every day. And yes, I love llamas.
A Tech-Driven Path
From a young age, technology has been both my playground and battleground. I’ve always been fascinated by how it shapes our society and drives change. This fascination led me to start working as a front-end developer, transitioning from a hobbyist to a professional role. Later on, I shifted my focus to a strategist role, overseeing complex operations. To this day, I actively work as a developer and DevOps Engineer. Each role has been a building block, enhancing my understanding of both the micro and macro aspects of technology and the world around us.
Beyond Work
When I’m not managing my business or handling my Terraform and Ansible files, you’ll find me either in my home lab, experimenting with automation projects, or watching the news, commenting on and analyzing society in general.
Vision and Values
I’m on a mission to blend my love for tech with my understanding of people to make a real difference. Sure, I’ve faced my own set of hurdles – from financial challenges to educational roadblocks – but these experiences have only fueled my drive to give back. My big dream? To set up an IT academy specifically for orphans. It’s a lofty goal, and maybe it’s a bit of a long shot, but I believe in trying. I want to use my journey in technology and my interest in psychology to create a place where these kids can discover their potential in the STEM world. And that’s not all – I’m also passionate about helping families in Croatia find a place to call home through a non-profit housing initiative. It’s about doing my bit to make things a little better, a little easier for others. Hey, we’ve all got to aim for something, right?
Reasoning
Why am I writing this blog? I want to improve my English skills, and I want a space to share my thoughts. That’s it. If you have any feedback about my English in this blog, write here: [email protected].
